Enactus Helwan BIS aimed to reduce plastic usage by extracting Cassava starches to make:
- Alternative utensils made from natural components like wheat, rice and coconut flours, barley, and wheat. They can be used and then eaten; packaged with eco-friendly material, and decomposes after 4:8 days if it’s thrown.
- Edible water bottle; eco-friendly, affordable, and also dissolves after a short period of time.
